A Kid Clad in Cardboard

A young Native kid (purposely not gendered) is playing outside as the sun begins to set.  They begin their journey back into the house, in the safety of their cardboard box.  Through their trek back to the safety of their warmly lit home, the fearful sounds of the outside world begin to permeate the box, despite being surrounded by visual familiarity.  Once reaching their house, their exploration through the living room reveals that their feeling of being home and feeling exposed to the society around them will always be present, but they must take care and pride of their red exterior, just as their family has always done.
